(6/10/2009, Fairfax, VA) – Dr. John Bruchalski, the President of Divine Mercy Care, has announced a new program to donate funds back to the churches of the area.  “The churches have been so generous to us by promoting our work, we are offering a program throughout the summer by which Divine Mercy Care contributes back to the parishes when new patients and customers come to us,” said Bruchalski.

As new patients and customers continue to come to each of the two businesses owned by Divine Mercy Care, between now and August 31, 2009, Divine Mercy Care will donate $5.00 back to the parish of any new patient at Tepeyac Family Center and $0.50 to any parish of any new customer to the DMC Pharmacy.  Tepeyac Family Center provides OB-GYN services to women regardless of race, creed, culture, or income level.  Tepeyac Family Center is the only full-time Catholic healthcare facility in the Catholic Diocese of Arlington.  With 60 babies delivered each month and over 1400 patient visits at the practice, Tepeyac has become the "go to place" for women desiring quality obstetrical and gynecological care.

The DMC pharmacy is the newest addition to the Divine Mercy Care family of healthcare services. DMC Pharmacy is a pro-life pharmacy specifically designed to meet the pharmaceutical needs in a pro-life, pro-woman, and pro-family atmosphere. Located in the Sully Place Shopping Center, in the heart of Chantilly, VA, DMC Pharmacy provides a convenient opportunity for families and individuals to have their prescriptions filled and their pharmaceutical questions answered in a friendly environment.  DMC Pharmacy also has the ability to mail prescriptions to any of its customers in the Commonwealth of Virginia, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and Georgia.

“I feel humbled by the generosity of the churches in helping us to carry out our mission of caring for those who cannot afford medical care and providing a pro-life atmosphere for all who shop for pharmaceutical products,” said Bruchalski. “This is a small gesture on our part to give back to those who helped us.”  Bob Laird, the Executive Director of Divine Mercy Care, indicated that when a new customer calls, emails or visits the DMC Pharmacy and indicates that they heard about us from a Church, we will donate $.50 for each prescription that customer gives to us or transfers to us.  “With the ability to mail prescriptions to customers, this can be done without leaving your home,” said Laird.  “Each time a new patient calls the Tepeyac Family Center and makes an appointment mentioning that she heard about us from a Church, we will donate $5.00 to that church after her first appointment.”

“Divine Mercy Care is values-based and consumer-driven.  Both patients and professionals do not want to abandon their conscience while they seek medical care,” Bruchalski continued.  “We need to be professional, personal, and passionate about how we infuse our community with the love of Jesus Christ.  Donations can be made to help Divine Mercy Care battle the culture of death by visiting our websites which are all linked to www.divinemercycare.org or by writing to Divine Mercy Care, 11096-B Lee Hwy, Suite 102, Fairfax, VA 22030.
